Acer formally launches its first curved G-Sync gaming monitor that pushes almost 5 million pixels across a 34-inch IPS panel. It’s complete with front speakers, thin bezels, and NVIDIA’s G-Sync Technology.
Acer XR341CKA monitor specs:
34-inch IPS display @ 3440 x 1440 resolution
NVIDIA G-Sync Technology
21:9 aspect ration
DTS audio
Pair of 7-watt speakers built-in
USB 3.0
DisplayPort
HDMI
100% color gamut
Its G-Sync Technology carries out smooth visuals with screen tearing and stuttering eliminated, while also improving input lag. It also has aim-point icons that shows a virtual crosshair since some games no longer provide it when set to ‘hardcore’ difficulty.
Features like these make the display appeal to gamers everwhere, but not everyone is willing to shell out $1,299 (approx. Php57.5K) so it’s obvious that Acer targets this product to the more dedicated players. The Acer XR341CKA monitor will be available starting September 2015.
