We’ve finally selected the winners of our first leg of contest for the #ExploreBeautiful #ExploreWorldwide series with Acer. Check out the list below if you’re one of them.

Being hospitalized several times when I was a child, I developed a fear of people wearing white uniforms. They always give me nightmares before because whenever they come around I feel pain. Without even knowing that the pain they give me is a part of the "process" which in turn will make me stronger, better, and healthier. I guess that's how life is. The more you get rid of something, the more it comes to you. I am now a Registered Nurse, I now wear the uniform I was once afraid of. I am wearing my uniform with dignity and compassion because I know that there is a reason why I became a nurse, that there is a reason why I became one of those people I hate before. I have discovered the beauty of this profession, and that is being benevolent and beneficial to others by providing quality healthcare that everyone deserves. #ExploreBeautiful #ExploreWorldwide

When I was a kid, my Dad and siblings said that I really loved playing with the other kids in our neighborhood. I would always act as a teacher and the other kids were my students. Everyone thought I would take up education in college like my Dad and my siblings but growing up I had different career paths that I wanted to take. During my graduation in kindergarten, I told everyone that I wanted to become a nurse; in elementary I wanted to become a teacher; in high school I dreamed of becoming a journalist. To make the long story short, I ended up finishing Master of Health Social Science at De La Salle University. I realized that all roads led me to my dream profession and one must really not give up on his/ her dreams…they do come true when one is willing enough to work hard to achieve them. #ExploreBeautiful #ExploreWorldwide

Here are the mechanics of the contest:

  1. Follow Nikon Philippines on their instagram account (@OfficialNikonPH) and Like their facebook page (facebook.com/NikonPhilippines) to qualify for the contest.
  2. Show us your craziest and wackiest zoomed photo along with a description of the moment and a reason why you deserve to win the camera in a Facebook and/or Instagram post. Use the hashtags #IamS3600 and #NikonPh.
  3. Leave a comment below with your full name and link to your entries.
  4. Deadline for submission of entries is on December 10, 2014.

Important Note: Just a reminder, we would really appreciate if you can set your Instagram and Facebook entries to public so we can readily check them.

Last time, we gave away a Samsung Galaxy S5 to one of our GDeals app user. This week, we’re giving away another one — this time, it’s iPhone 5S. How cool is that? See below on how you can score the phone.

Please read the mechanics carefully so you have better chances of winning.


Giveaway Mechanics:

1. Open to all Globe Prepaid/Postpaid and TM subscribers.

2. To join the contest, subscriber must download GDeals app on his Android or iPhone and must register to GDeals app by linking to his FB account or through manual registration from October 31 to Nov 2, 2014.

GDeals app is free to download from Apple Store and Google Play or visit www.gdeals.ph for download link (standard data charges apply if you are not subscribe to any Globe data).

4. Take a screenshot of your favorite deal in GDeals app, post it in YugaTech FB Page with hashtag #WonderfulDiscountswithGDeals, tag GDealsPH and 10 of your FB friends. (For entries to be valid you must tag GDealsPH and like the GDealsPH FB page.

(Make sure that the setting of your FB profile is in public while the contest is ongoing so we can check it.)

6. Subscribers may send more than 1 entry as long as you tag different set of friends in your other entries.

First Leg of our Challenge: #ExploreBeautiful

We start our #ExploreWorldwide series with a quick look at the past and how we changed thru time. While technology has allowed us to easily reach our potential, each individual has gone thru some kind of change or transformation.

The beauty is not how we changed our look but our outlook; not on where we’ve been but where we want to be – beauty is a state of mind.

Our first challenge is about #exploring our potential. Show us a photo of you between now and at least 10 years ago (baby pics if need be) and tell us what has changed. Post on your social media accounta and share with friends using the hashtags #ExploreBeautiful #ExploreWorldwide. Leave a comment with a link to your entry.
