OnePlus 2 advantages:

  • Has the biggest RAM (4GB)
  • Biggest battery (3,300mAh)
  • Costs only half the price of flagship phones

OnePlus 2 disadvantages:

  • Memory not expandable
  • Rear camera has lowest pixel count (13MP)
  • No NFC
  • Heaviest among the bunch (175 grams)

At par with flagship phones:

  • Corning Gorilla Glass 4
  • Processing power
  • Full HD display
  • 64GB internal storage
  • Dual-SIM/dual LTE
  • 5MP front camera
  • Android Lollipop

Basing on the specs sheet alone, the OnePlus 2 caught up with most of what other top-tier smartphones have and even had a couple of better components like RAM and battery capacity.

Although do keep in mind that it’s not all about the technical specifications and only a real test in real-life usage of the device would then we be able to point out the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Xperia Z2 vs Z3 vs Z4: Can You Spot the Difference?

Sony officially unveiled the Xperia Z4 about a week ago. It is their newest flagship smartphone, but from the Japanese press release that came with the announcement, it seems like there’s just been a few upgrades from its predecessors. We placed the Z4’s revealed specs beside the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 — can you spot their differences?

It seems like a bump in the processing aspect is the biggest upgrade we can see in Sony’s new flagship phone. From the major specs, screen size remained the same as well as the amount of RAM installed in the device.

The company’s 20.7-megapixel camera has also been retained. It’s understandable, though, since Sony’s Exmor R sensor already produces crisp images with natural colors thanks to its BIONZ image processing engine. Also, front camera has been improved to 5.1 megapixels.

If we were to ask you, will these new upgrades be enough to persuade you to get one when it comes here in the Philippines? As of now the Xperia Z4 is only exclusive to Japan, but stay tuned as we wait for any news regarding its possible local launch.

This site guides you in choosing your next smartphone

With all the launches and announcements left and right, it’s hard to keep track of all the smartphones available in the market. Thanks to this simple website, choosing your next smartphone might be easier this time around.

The site is just a comparison chart. What’s neat about it is you can put in data as filters if you’re looking for a certain specification on your next device. For example, if you want a phone with at least 16GB storage space then you can adjust the slider and it will eliminate all other devices with less than the set amount of internal storage.

You can set the filters for storage space, RAM, resolution, screen size, weight, and even pricing although it’s in US dollars. It’s important to note that not every device is available here, but still, it’s a pretty helpful tool for scouring through devices.

Additionally, the website doesn’t only feature smartphones. You can switch to different charts like laptops, MP3 players, and even flash drives to compare and help you decide on your next purchase.

It’s pretty easy to navigate so just check it out for yourself.
