Last week’s Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016 has showcased really cool products that will get us excited for this year. Among them are the new smartwatches and fitness monitors. Take a look at the top picks below.
This isn’t Razer’s first foray into wearables, they had the Razer Nabu in 2014 then the Razer Nabu X in 2015.For this year, they introduced the Razer Nabu Watch. As its name suggests, it’s basically a watch but with built-in sensors and wireless connectivity turning it into a fitness tracker as well.
The veteran watch brand has finally jumped on the smartwatch bandwagon with the WSD-F10 Smart Outdoor Watch. Designed for outdoorsy men, the WSD-F10 is powered with Google’s Android Wear, built to military standard specifications, and sensors enough to make Bear Grylls happy.
Fitness trackers need not be ugly, and that is what the Misfit Ray lives up to. The cylindrical fitness tracker is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum with a design that can pass off as a luxury accessory. It even comes in fancy Rose Gold and Carbon Black colors, too.
Fitbit’s Blaze is also an eye-candy with its modular design and premium interchangeable bands made from genuine leather, stainless steel or high-performance elastomer. It has colored touchscreen that can display multiple clock faces and automatic exercise recognition so you don’t have to tell it that you’re doing Zumba.
Just as you thought that the Huawei Watch from last year isn’t elegant and jewel-like enough, the company just recently introduced the Android Wear-powered Huawei Watch Elegant and Huawei Watch Jewel. Aimed at ladies with sophisticated demands toward smartwatch aesthetics, the Watch Elegant has a pattern decoration etched on its rose-gold body while the Watch Jewel is adorned with 68 pieces of 1.5mm Swarovski crystals.
Alcatel’s offering is different from the rest as it is not exactly a smartwatch but its feature can be considered smart especially for parents. The CareTime Children’s Watch has a built-in GPS tracking device that notifies parents when their children enter or leave a predetermined safe zone. It also allows parents to call or send voice messages to their children and vice versa.
And there you have it. If we missed anything, do let us know in the comments field below.
