Mitsubishi Corporation’s HR Subsidiary to Set Up Regional Hub in Singapore
Mitsubishi Corporation President and CEO Ken Kobayashi
Mitsubishi Corporation is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Human Link Corporation, will be opening its first overseas office in Singapore, to be registered locally as Human Link Asia Pte., Ltd.
MC’s global market strategy places emphasis on targeting Asian markets due to the region’s impressive economic growth projections, and the number of MC’s consolidated subsidiaries and affiliated companies across the Asia and Oceania region had grown to over 100 companies by March 2015. Another element of that strategy is aimed at promoting multi-localization in Asian markets, which in turn has created greater need for HR solutions such as the restructuring of HR systems and enhancing their capacity to adequately attract, train and retain competent staff.
HLC has been providing HR solutions and services to MC group and other companies in a range of industries for 20 years, specializing in the fields of HR development, consulting for HR management systems, and global HR solutions. Leveraging this abundant experience and know-how, the new office will provide timely professional HR support for business development initiatives as well as for mergers and acquisitions or strategic alliances made by MC group companies in the Asia and Oceania region.
The Asia and Oceania region has seen a notable increase in foreign investments in recent years as well as in mergers and acquisitions that involve overseas enterprises. This has led to a growing demand from companies, both within and outside the MC Group, for the services offered by HLC. HLA will therefore seek to provide these companies with HR solutions that respond adequately to the demands for successful operation in the Asia and Oceania region.
