Archos Diamond 2 Note: 6″ QHD display, Helio X10 chipset

Yet another Archos smartphone is set for showcase during the upcoming Mobile World Congress and it’s key feature is a crisp QHD resolution display.

The Archos Diamond 2 Note sports a 6-inch borderless IPS LCD with QHD resolution or 2560 x 1440 pixels, which translates to a sharp 490ppi. Inside it, we have a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core chipset running at 2.0GHz paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU. Memory is handled by the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The imaging department has a sweet 4K recording capability thanks to the 16-megapixel PDAF rear camera with dual LED flash and a bright f/2.0 aperture. Selfies are handled by the 8-megapixel wide-angle front camera. All under the goodness Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Interestingly, it’s said to have a remote control and sound amplification support. The Diamond 2 Note will retail for £249 or around Php17,100. Should be available starting May 2016.

Note: According to the PR posted online, it’s got a 2K display yet specification listing is QHD w/ 2560 x 1440 pixels.
