Play This: WWE Immortals for iOS and Android

If you’re looking for a fresh new game to try on your smartphone, check WWE Immortals out! WWE gets some Mortal Kombat treatment and turns wrestlers like John Cena into a superhero and Undertaker into a necromancer.

The game allows for a Mortal Kombat style of play, with swiping and tapping combos plus finishers. You are also allowed three characters per team, and you can unlock more features as you progress. However, if you want to have that effortlessly faster, WWE Immortals has in-app purchases.

I’ve downloaded the 1.4GB game into my Google Nexus 5 already and it works beautifully smooth. You can download the game here for free: iOS, Android.

App Trending: Have you played Kim Kardashian: Hollywood?

It’s not the first time something trended like this – Flappy Bird, 2048 and more, and certainly, it’s not the first game about celebrities and Hollywood life, but even so, the Kim Kardashian game gets downloaded into many users’ pockets.

Kim Kardashian Hollywood

Basically, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is a 2D game where you live up creating your own celebrity, and there will be many choices for you to make on your road to stardom. You can download the game here for iOS and here for Android.

Play This: The 2048 Game

Here’s another addicting game that may hook you up; 2048 is a math puzzle game that will have you combine two similar number tiles into one until you come up with a 2048 tile, but unless you have the right skills and logic, it’s going to be a tough ride.

2048

You are given only limited space at the beginning of play with only tiles of 2 and 4. With that, you will have to work your way up to 2048 with new tiles coming up every swipe. If you can’t, you can at least compare your scores with other people to add a competitive flavor into the game.

You can play it on the desktop (web) while there are lots of other derivatives and versions on iOS, Android & Windows Phone app stores.

YugaBird: the YugaTech Flappy Bird mod with a twist

Following the success of the Flappy Bird game, YugaTech has decided to create a modded game for those who want a little twist as we’ve added a few new and interesting elements. While there aren’t really any birds involved, we are calling it YugaBird!

YugaBird

One of the new elements is that you can choose your character to fly. You can choose from the whole YugaTech team and when you reach a gold medal, you unlock new characters – the YugaTech logo and a few of our favorite readers.

So far, we can’t bring it to any app store so we only have installers. For the iOS version, you can click through here for all the steps, while for Android, the APK file can be found here. Download now and tell us what you think in the comments section.

Telegram app: simple, secure, self-destructing messaging

There are a lot of messaging apps that I have tried using and for some reason, things just go crashing down. It’s either too slow, gimmicky, too buggy or no one is just there. Now, out of curiosity, I tried out this new thing called Telegram which allows a lot of privacy options with fast services all in a very simple interface and it is indeed very promising.

Telegram

Messaging apps have been at war now for quite awhile and I have to say that it has been very chaotic. Right now, I have BBM, Skype, Line, an abandoned Viber, Hangouts and probably more that I forgot about already – everything has been lacking. With Telegram, I got the things that I am looking for:

  • It’s really simple.
  • No ads!
  • Ability to set delete timer for messages.
  • Safe and secure from hacks.
  • It’s free.
  • Really fast and not irritating to use.

It’s available on both iOS and Android for downloads. So far, the only thing that holds the app back for me is its amount of users here in the PH (it’s already topping the charts in other places around the world). At the moment, I only have one contact which is a huge problem for something called a messaging app – but I think with the right features and capabilities, users are not far away. To have a good idea of what I’m talking about, download it now here and here for iOS and Android respectively.
