Meizu‘s awaited Pro 5 is now official during an event in China and with it comes a handful of beefy specs. Head past the jump for the full list.

The Meizu Pro 5 will be available starting October 12 and will cost you CNY2800 (approx. Php20.5K) for the 3GB/32GB combo, while the 4GB/64GB tandem will have a price tag of CNY3100 (approx. Php22.7K).

ASUS Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Max to officially launch next week

Jerry Shen, CEO of ASUS, announces that the company’s Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Max will officially launch during IFA next week after recently showing a preview to everyone.

The Zenfone Zoom was introduced back in January, while the Zenfone Max was announced early this month. With the number of new handsets coming from the Taiwanese company, Shen told Digitimes that ASUS is planning to ship over 21 million smartphones by the end of this year, with plans to expand it significantly to 30 – 40 million units by 2016.
