Cherry Mobile is rolling out a firmware update for the Tegra Note 7 which brings its software version to Android Lollipop.

The software update puts the CM Tegra Note 7 at par with newer tablets (on the software side at least) and will definitely put a smile on its owners as OS upgrades like these are hard to come by, especially for an older device.

A new Wi-Fi only CM Tegra Note 7 will set you back Php7,999. The data-enabled version, on the other hand, can be had for Php11,999.

French brand ARCHOS announces its new affordable smartphones running Android Lollipop 5.1 and one handset running Windows 10 which are about to be shown off at next week’s IFA in Berlin. These are the Diamond S, 50e Helium, and 50  Cesium.
