Alcatel has just made official its latest Android smartphone that sports a 5-inch full HD display and an octa-core CPU – the One Touch Idol X+.
We’ve already reported about the One Touch Idol X+ late last month but it was only today during CES when Alcatel made its official announcement. The Idol X+ boasts an octa-core CPU, a 5-inch full HD dsplay with 2.4mm edge-to-edge bezels, and side speakers that support SACD’s 24bit/192KHz playback which is four times better than a CD.

Alcatel is bundling the handset with a pair of JBL earbuds and an LED-equipped wristband accessory that accepts notifications and also functions as a pedometer, sleep tracker and proximity alarm.
Details about the price is still unknown but it is expected to go on sale in Asian countries this month.
