With the recent release of the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Sony is pushing its tablet portfolio to new heights as the Japanese electronics manufacturer might enter the bigger tablet market next year.
According to Taiwan-based supply chain makers, Sony Mobile Communications is working on a 12-inch top-of-the-line tablet that will feature pen input. The new tablet will join the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 which targets graphics-related consumers.
Since the demand for such device is yet low, only a limited number of order was placed. But with the growing family of large-sized tablet, including Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3, more manufacturers could jump on the bandwagon. Sony’s large-sized tablet is expected for a Q1 release next year.
