Dagupan voted one of top Asean cities

Dagupan City was adjudged one of the 25 top-performing Philippine Cities in Competitive Studies by the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

It was one of ninety cities surveyed by AIM, composed of three categories, namely metro, mid-sized and small, analyzed and evaluated based on dynamism of local economy, infrastructure, human resources and training, responsiveness of Local Government Units to business needs and quality life, and others.


Dagupan City and 45 other cities were listed in the small-size category. Among the other cities are Bayawan, Calapan, Calbayog, Dipolog, Laoag, San Fernando (La Union), Malaybalay, Naga, Surigao, Tagbilaran and Tuguegarao.
