Grab Philippines has announced a promo where passengers can get a Php200 discount when they book a ride home from the airport.

Until October 10, 2016 you may use the promo code GRABNAIA to get the Php200 discount. Check out the terms and conditions below:

• Valid for one ride, when you select any Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal as your ride’s pick-up point.
• Valid for cash, debit, and credit payment methods.
• Valid for GrabCar, GrabCar Premium and GrabCar 6 Seater services.
• Valid whether you book on the Grab mobile app, or at the Grab booths at each of the NAIA terminals.

Globe and TM offers 30 days free access or 1GB allocation to Pokemon GO

Globe and TM has announced that it’s offering 30 days free access or 1GB of mobile data allocation to Pokemon GO via Globe Switch.

Starting August 20, 2016, Globe and TM prepaid users can play Pokemon GO for free for 30 days or 1GB of mobile data allocation dedicated for the game.

To avail of the promo, you have to use the Globe Switch app which you can download at the Google Play Store.

SSS computer glitch wipes out contributions of members

A computer glitch in the Social Security System (SSS) has wiped out the records of contributions of hundreds of thousands of members.

According to a report by ABS-CBN’s Alvin Elchico, the computer glitch occurred when the SSS digitized its records. Contributions made from 1985 to 1989 were not reflected in the SSS database, affecting hundreds of thousands of members. The SSS expects to fully fix the records by middle of 2017.
