Google has announced an update to its famous Maps and Earth services as the company now uses new and higher-resolution imagery from NASA’s Landsat 8 satellite.
What does this mean for us? Well, to start, you can view the whole world, including the Philippines in greater definition. Second, virtual exploration of places we wish to observe from above is more enjoyable and detailed than before. It has been 3 years since Google has updated the images of their free mapping services.
