A new Galaxy smartphone has been posted online on Samsung Philippines website and this confirms the document we were able to obtain last month.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini is a smaller and cheaper version of the Galaxy J1 (2016) sporting a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It’s powered by an undisclosed 1.2GHz quad-core processor (most probably a Speadtrum SC8830) paired with 768MB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage.
Cameras are an underwhelming 5-megapixel and VGA sensors with no built-in flash. It’s a Dual-SIM 3G handset using micro-SIM cards and is running Android 5.1 Lollipop.
