Two upcoming ASUS Zenfones have appeared on GFX Bench which could possibly be variants of the Zenfone 3. One sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 650 CPU, while the other has a 5.9-inch HD display and Snapdragon 615 CPU.
According to GFX Bench, the two new smartphones – ASUS Z012D and ASUS Z010DD sport 3GB RAMs, 32GB of internal storage, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Most of the difference point to the display size and CPU.
The ASUS Z012D has a 5.5-inch Full HD display or 401ppi, Snapdragon 650 hexa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, and Adreno 510 GPU.
The ASUS Z010DD, on the other hand, is a phablet at 5.9-inch HD or 249ppi, Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, and a Adreno 405 GPU. GFX Bench also revealed its camera specs – 12 megapixel rear, and a 5 megapixel front.
At this point, it’s still early to conclude that these are the Zenfone 3. It has a lot to live up to considering its predecessor boasts 4GB RAM.
