Electronic Sports League (ESL), the world’s largest esports company, has announced it will host South East Asia’s largest esports competition in the Philippines in April 2016 – ESL One Manila by PLDT Fibr & Smart GameX.
The esports competition will feature the top Dota 2 teams in the world with a place reserved and dedicated for a local Filipino team, and a prize pool of $250,000. It will take place from April 23-24, 2016 in the Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets will go on sale starting December 8, 2015 at 6PM. Take a look at the ticket pricing below:
* Weekend tickets – from Php500 (US$10): general admission to the event on both days
* Premium tickets – Php5,000 (US$106): premium area seating, free drinks and food, goodie bag, exclusive signing sessions, dedicated secret shop in premium area, special Dota 2 ingame item
“The Philippines have a strong history with Dota 2, and so when discussing possible Asian events, the decision was an easy one to make.
