Qatar Airways joined executives from various airlines and airports around the world at the Global Aviation Festival, recently held in London, to showcase its end-to-end customer experience offering.
The event, hosted by Terrapinn, gathered leaders of global aviation companies to discuss key innovations and share ideas on how to boost profits and improve the overall customer experience.
Delegates visiting the event gained knowledge about the latest e-Commerce, customer experience and operational technology that assist airlines and airports in meeting the needs of travellers today, with more than 50 technical demonstrations from some of the leading travel technology companies on display over the two days.
Qatar Airways’ Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Mr. Rossen Dimitrov gave a presentation focusing on the emerging opportunities and challenges faced by the global aviation industry – presenting key innovations behind the design of customer experience across all touch points at Qatar Airways, and how the airline has taken a unique approach to creating a five-star end-to-end travel experience for its passengers.
“It was a highly interesting and informative experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by the team from Qatar Airways that attended the Global Aviation festival, said Mr. Dimitrov. “We are always looking at ways to better our award-winning customer experience and we look forward to implementing many new innovative ideas that are ultimately going to leave Qatar Airways’ passengers with even more positive experiences.”
Representatives in attendance at the Global Aviation Festival included guest speakers from a number of the airlines around the world. Each speaker highlighted important points on the future of air travel and the importance of enabling customers to stay connected via Wi-Fi connectivity on-board the aircraft for the duration of their journey, whether the traveller wants to catch up on e-mails, stream videos or update their blog live on-board the flight.
