On our flight back from New York for the Samsung Unpack event, we had a 2 hour layover at the Changi airport and was surprised that the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ were already selling in stores and available thru carrier’s postpaid plans (it was all over the newspaper too).
Then, we spotted this at one of the gadgets stores in Changi airport — the Galaxy Note 5 is being sold for SGD$1,016 (cheaper than the retail price due because it’s duty free).
The Galaxy Note 5 is selling for SGD$1,088 for the 32GB and SGD$1,188 for the 64GB variant.n That roughly translates to Php35,750 and Php39,000, respectively.
For the Philippines, expect the release of the Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus on September 5.
