Last week, Sen. Bam Aquino called out on the NTC to explain the delay of the memorandum for internet standards in the Philippines.
Another Senate Hearing regarding the “Slow and Expensive Internet” in the Philippines is scheduled on August 18, 2015 at the Senate of the Philippines and the public is invited to attend the sessions.
The call to investigate the state of internet in the Philippines started out around April of 2014 when Sen. Aquino voice out his concerns. Several other legislators have voiced out similar complaints.
