LG is bringing some Lollipop goodness to owners of E-Series Android tablets — this includes the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0, and G Pad 10.1. The update is expected to include an array of improvements like better UI elements, improved color representation, and more.
We’ve previously reported about this update but it turned out that South Korea got first dibs. This time, we have a date for the international release.
Starting April 12, the Android 5.0 update will start rolling out to the aforementioned devices that aims to bring new features on top of system improvements. The new Android version will notify the user once connected to a Wi-Fi network. Otherwise, LG’s website has the download link available.
This new update will offer the following improvements:
- UI Design: Will include faster response rates, smoother motion,
optimized menus, and more vivid colors. - Notifications: Offers new ways to control how e-mails are sent and
received, including the option to respond to e-mail directly from the lock
screen. - Battery Management: Device will estimate battery life and charging
time. - Greater Computing Power: Access to 15 additional languages and four
times more powerful.
