Slappy Cakes is the infamous international all-day breakfast joint originated in Portland, Oregon. Aside from its pancake fare, it also offers no-meat alternatives that are still tasty and fulfilling for its Lenten specials.
Their Lenten special starts with the Slappetizers including Cheese Sticks, Mango Ponzu Salad and Tomato Soup. They also offer Pasta dishes and Slappy Plates like Pesto Pasta with Anchovies, Salmon Pasta with Cream Sauce, Filled Three Cheese Sandwich, and Fish Bites. Moreover, you can indulge with the All Day breakfast menu such as the Salmon Benedict, Seasonal Vegetable Benedict and Garlic Bangus.
“Given the timeliness of our offering of these non-meat fares, we believe we are giving our diners more alternatives that are in accordance to their preference,” said Karen Caballero, General Manager of Slappy Cakes.
Slappy Cakes have branches in Eastwood Mall, SM Aura Premier, SM North EDSA The Block, and SM Jazz Mall. For their Holy Week schedules, branches will be open from Palm Sunday until Holy Wednesday and will resume on Black Saturday.
