Epson has launched its next-generation T-Series Technical Drawing printers which the company claims are designed to deliver high speed, high performance, and high precision printing for the engineering, architecture, and Geographic Information System (GIS) markets.
The new new batch of T-Series printers have retained well-received features from the first generation like large waste tanks, ‘permanent’ print heads, and a choice of cost-effective ink cartridges. Of course, the company also included a slew of new features. Some of which include:
- New PrecisionCore Thin Film Piezo (TFP) print head technology – delivers speed and high quality output (28 seconds to print A1-size page/2880 maximum dpi resolution)
- Variable-Sized Droplet Technology – reduces ink consumption
- Ultra-low running costs/power consumption
According to Epson, the new lineup has also been enhanced with a faster processor, 1GB of memory that comes as standard, and an option of a 320GB hard drive.
The new T-Series range consists of the 24-inch SureColor T3200, 36-inch SureColor T5200, 36-inch Dual-Roll SureColor T5200D, 44-inch SureColor T7200, and 44-inch Dual-Roll SureColor T7200D. Complementing those is an optional large format 36-inch scanner which enables configuration of a complete multi-function solution for high-resolution scan, copy, and share.
