The continuity across Apple devices like Macs, iPhones, and iPad works well with Apple apps through Handoff. Here is Samsung with something similar under their sleeves but better.
Samsung FLOW is platform for developers that will allow them to create smooth transitions across different Samsung devices. And that means smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, notebooks, and even smart TVs. Watch the video below to see a demo.
Basically, FLOW keeps things flowing. Making your Samsung devices work seamless and increase your productivity. It has three major feature — Transfer, Defer, and Notify.
Transfer is for continuos work flow. Like for an example, you were working on a document on your smartphone but the screen might be cramped, so you flow your work to your tablet for more screen estate. Simple.
Defer your work to save it for later on another device. Works like a bookmark on a browser, which you can access on any synced device.
Notify alerts you on whatever device you are currently using with information from other devices like a phone call or maybe e-mail, even you’re on your TV.
Samsung FLOW is currently on invitation-only beta. We hope to see FLOW in 2015, just in time for next Samsung flagships.
