The first family of Android One handsets were launched last week and were headlined by three phone manufacturers namely: Karbonn, Micromax, and Spice. Their current handsets are equipped with decent specs with a price tag of Rs 6,399 or Php4,624 when directly converted. Karbonn is reportedly the first maker to come out with a second device under Google’s program followed by Spice. Expect the same range of pricing schemes when they launch this December.
In addition, Android One was said to arrive in the Philippines later this year. Here’s what to expect once it makes its way to local shores.
