Samsung has announced its latest powerful smart camera system aimed at professional photographers, featuring a 28 megapixel APS-C BSI CMOS sensor, 15FPS continuous AF shooting, 4K UHD video recording, and a unique Auto Focus (AF) System III with 205 Phase Detection AF points – the NX1.

Samsung also introduced its 50-150mm F2.8 S ED OIS lens to go along with the NX1. It features SHS (Samsung Hyper Shield Coating), dust and splash resistant body, and weighs almost a kilo.
The Samsung NX1 has a price tag of $1,499 (body-only) while the lens costs $1,599. Both are expected to go on sale in October.
