ARCHOS, a mobile device manufacturer based in France, has recently announced a plethora of devices in preparation for this year’s IFA. One of those devices is an 8-inch tablet dubbed as the ARCHOS 80 Cesium which runs on full version of Windows 8.1 and is powered by a quad-core Intel processor.
In a short description of the tablet provided in the the press release, the ARCHOS 80 Cesium is said to have an 8-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution and will come pre-installed with Windows 8.1right out of the box. Doing the workload for the tablet is an undisclosed quad-core processor made by Intel.
Sadly that’s all there is to it for now as the press release didn’t give out a lot of details about the ARCHOS’ exciting new Win8.1 tablet. What we do know though is that the ARCHOS 80 Cesium will be available in the market starting on October and will have a very competitive price tag of just USD149 when it hit shelves.
