Looks like Nokia will continue to make new products and services for consumers as detailed in a number of job listings published on LinkedIn.
Apparently, Nokia can still make its own products even after Microsoft has already acquired its devices and services division. One indication is the intro to a job description for a new Business Development Manager or Director:
“Nokia is establishing a new businesses built on Nokia innovation, focusing on physical and digital products and services for consumers directly or through other customer companies. We have already identified a number of product opportunities where we can make a difference in the market in areas aligned with our vision and where our brand makes a difference, and we continue to look for new opportunities where we can win.”
If that wasn’t enough, Sebastian Nystrom, Nokia’s SVP of Strategy has confirmed via Twitter that the company is indeed hiring for new products businesses.

Although Nokia didn’t specify the types of products they are working on, the job postings for a Senior Imaging Engineer and Interaction Designer suggests that new imaging products and user interface design is also in the pipeline, which isn’t surprising since Nokia has already launched the Z Launcher for Android smartphones recently.
