Nearly a year and a half after its official announcement, Apple has finally made the 2-step verification available to 59 countries including Philippines.
In case you don’t know, the 2-step verification feature acts as an added security for your Apple ID. If enabled, users would have to first input the system-generated code that will be sent to pre-configured number in order to login to their Apple account.
Having this security feature can be a little annoying for some, but we think that majority of Apple users, particularly those who have a payment attached to their Apple ID, wouldn’t mind having the slight hassle because it adds another layer of protection to their account.
