Globe launches Galaxy Forever Plan

In addition to the postpaid plans we’ve previously reported, Globe Telecoms has announced the Galaxy Forever Plan which entitles subscribers to a new flagship Galaxy smartphone every year without having to finish the usual 24-month lock-in period.

In a nutshell, Globe’s new Galaxy Forever Plan is somewhat similar to their existing iPhone Forever Plan wherein these special postpaid plans only lasts for 12 months. After the contract period has lapsed consumers can choose to renew their service and either trade in their old handsets for a smaller cash-out or pay the full one-time fee.

Here’s the breakdown of the Galaxy Forever Plans and their respective inclusions:

Monthly consumable (TBC)

Galaxy Forever Plan 1999:

Assuming that Globe is still following the same allocations they have with the iPhone Forever Plan, the monthly consumable for the Galaxy Forever Plan 1599 and 1999 is Php601, while the Galaxy Forever Plan has Php101. We’ll have to confirm this, and we’ll get back with you once we hear from Globe.
