Announced early November 2013, the Lenovo Vibe Z (also referred to as the K910) is considered to be the successor to the K900.
Over at the Qualcomm booth in the CES floor, we spotted the Vibe Z along with other Snapdragon devices.
The Vibe Z (K910) did not have much similarities to its predecessor, the K900. The larger 5.5-inch display still looks gorgeous though.
Gone’s the blocky design and in it’s place, a more tapered edge and still thin 7.9mm body (although the K900 was thinner at 6.9mm). With the matte silver finish at the back, the Vibe Z also gives that metallic effect.
The device still lacks that option for expandable storage which means you’ll have to deal with the 16GB internal storage that came with it.
Lenovo Vibe Z K910 specs:
5.5-inch Full HD IPS display @ 1080×1920 pixels, 401ppi
Corning Gorilla Glass 3
Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor
Adreno 330 Graphics
2GB RAM
16GB internal storage
HSPA+, LTE 150Mbps
WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual band
Bluetooth 4.0
GPS with aGPS support, GLONASS
FM Radio tuner
Sony IMX135 13MP f/1.8 rear camera with dual LED flash
5MP front-facing camera
Li-Po 3000mAh battery
Android 4.3 Jellybean
149.1 x 77 x 7.9mm
The Lithium polymer battery was also increased to 3,000mAh and it’s interesting to know the 13MP rear camera is a Sony IMX135.
While the Vibe Z K910 still looks nice, we think the original Lenovo K900 still had the better design. But that’s just us. We’ll have to wait for the K910 to be released in the Philippines sometime 1st or 2nd quarter of 2014.
