If Samsung and HTC have “Mini” versions of their respective flagship handsets, LG has one too in the form of the dual-SIM G Pro Lite. However, instead of making it smaller, LG has retained the size of the physical component of the cheaper G Pro and just cut back on some of its features in order to drop the price tag down.
As far as the external features are concerned, it can be quite tricky to differentiate one from the other as the G Pro Lite almost has the same dimension as the G Pro. It also share the same screen size and features with its sibling, with the exception of the resolution which is qHD instead of 1080p.
In addition to the less pixel-packed display, the G Pro Lite also has a more modest engine setup which includes a dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB default storage. It’s a got an 8MP shooter with flash on the rear end which captures full-HD clips, as well as a 1.3MP camera on the front.
Fortunately, LG still decided to keep the same 3140mAh battery of the G Pro on the Lite version which should be a welcome feature for prospective buyers. Oh and it also has its own stylus which may come in handy for random doodles or quick notes.
