The Finland-based phone manufacturer has announced the Nokia 108 which is easily one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest feature phone with camera (from a reputable brand) that money can buy.
For all intents and purposes, the Nokia 108 is basically a camera-infused version of the Nokia 105 which the company announced back in February of this year. Apart from the 0.3MP snapper, the 108 also has a slightly bigger screen and is equipped with Bluetooth to allow file transfers to other devices via Nokia Slam.
Nokia 108 specs:
1.8-inch 65k Color Display
8MB memory
up to 32GB via microSD
VGA camera
3.5 mm jack
FM Radio
Bluetooth 3.0
Dual-SIM (Optional)
110.4 x 47 x 13.5 mm
70.2g
The good thing here is that despite these incremental upgrades, Nokia was still able to keep the 108’s price at a minimum, which only costs USD29 (before taxes and subsidies). That goes for the regular and the dual-SIM variant of the phone. It’ll be available in the last quarter of the year and will initially be offered in three color options (Red, White and Black), followed by Yellow and Cyan at a latter time.
