Ad: Nokia Lumia 1020 41MP sensor vs. Samsung, Apple

Hilarious and mocking ads from Nokia and Microsoft are nothing new. We witnessed its take on the Lumia 920 before and most of the time, it definitely works. It is amusing and at the same time informative. This time, it is the Lumia 1020‘s turn to brag.

The setup starts at a kid’s play. With all the parents watching and taking photos of the precious moments of their child while on stage. Of course, we don’t use point-and-shoot that much anymore, we use our smartphones namely the iPhone and the Galaxy series. The photos most of the time will look nice but there is one thing missing about them, the zoom.

Nokia has reinvented zoom by putting in an enormous sensor into the Lumia 1020, giving you a high-resolution photo that you could zoom in after you hit the shutter button. Nokia’s first device to feature this is the Pureview 808 and now the Lumia 1020 is its successor with the addition of Optical Image Stabilization for better low-light performance and throwing in the Windows Phone 8 platform.
