MANY PEOPLE simply have difficulty comprehending the magnificent amount of money (roughly P11 billion) allocated for the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF), otherwise more lovingly known (in Congress at least) as the pork barrel.
But interestingly, Congress still doesn’t get enough. Over the years, Congress has consistently padded the pork barrel budget proposed by Malacanang every year by up to double the original amount.
