ASUS is about to release its latest ultrabook that runs Intel’s new Haswell processor, the VivoBook V551.
The VivoBook V551 (VivoBook S551 in Europe) features an Intel Core i7-4500U Haswell CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (2GB DDR3 RAM), 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB hard drive with 24GB SSD cache, and a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 HD display with a ten finger touch panel.
Other specs include an optical drive, SD card reader, HDMI, USB 2.0 (X2), USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 65 Whr battery. All packed in an aluminum-design body weighing 2.4Kg.
The ASUS VivoBook V551 is expected to sell for around 1,000 USD. No information yet on availability.
