An electronics company that goes by the name of Promate (Professional Mate) is about to release the world’s first Android tablet that comes with a built-in projector – the LumiTab.
The LumiTab sports a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600, 170ppi) IPS display, a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.5Ghz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and runs Adroid 4.2 Jellybean. Sounds like an ordinary entry-level slate but wait till you see the built-in 35 lumens projector that is capable of displaying content up to 100-inches diagonally at a WVGA (854 x 480) resolution.
A projector-tablet might be too gimicky to some but for a professional who needs to make business presentations on the go, the LumiTab is a sure treat.
