Huawei has officially unveiled earlier today its first smartphone to run Windows Phone 8 – the Huawei Ascend W1. And guess what? It’s affordable.
The Ascend W1 sports a 4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 which calculates to a pixel density of 233ppi. In addition, it features OGS and IPS technology so the display appears much clearer with great viewing angles. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and an Adreno 305 GPU.
