Filipinos and locals alike trooped to Jollibee on opening day.
Jollibee, the country’s number 1 fast-food chain, continues to expand its presence in Asia and reach out to more Filipinos as it recently opened its first store in Singapore.
Jollibee’s first store in Singapore is welcome news for the growing number of Filipinos who long for the affordable and everyday delicious food that they all grew up with and love. From the crispylicious and juicylicious Chickenjoy, Yumburgers made with 100% beef, and the meatiest Jollibee Spaghetti, their favorite langhap sarap treats are now accessible with the opening of the new store.
Just like any Jollibee store opening abroad, long lines of customers patiently waiting for their great-tasting Jollibee treats filled the store on its first day. Jollibee also treated the store’s first 100 customers with free premium Jollibee items as a way of saying thank you for patronizing the brand.

Jollibee continues to reach more Filipinos overseas as it has planted its roots across the globe with a total store network of 872 stores in the Philippines and across South East Asia, the Middle East and North America.
The emerging international brand promises to provide Filipinos with the same affordable and great-tasting food, the highest standards of quality and cleanliness, and the warm service and friendly ambience that they are accustomed to in their home country.
Jollibee executives expressed their excitement in opening its first branch in Singapore to cater to the estimated 160,000 Filipinos working and living there. The company is optimistic that the high Filipino population will help drive further expansion in the region.

Being a family-oriented fast food chain, our store can be a second home for Filipino families and friends alike to enjoy each other’s company over meal time”, explains Jollibee Vice President for Asia and Middle East Mr. Dennis Flores.
“Within the 1st quarter of 2013, Jollibee will continue to set foot in more countries in the Asia Pacific as part of the brand’s international expansion and to bring “langhap sarap” goodness to more Filipinos,” added Flores.
Apart from its first store in Singapore, Jollibee currently has 39 stores in Vietnam, another in Hongkong, 13 in Brunei, 12 in the Middle East and 27 in USA.
