Apple has recently released the fifth Beta version of their upcoming iOS 6.1 to certified iOS developers. But unlike the previous releases, this iteration has something big in store for iOS users besides the typical OS improvements and bug fixes.
What you’re looking at is the SystemPartitionPadding key of the iOS 6.1 Beta 5 which represents the device’s storage capacity. Surprisingly, the first entry on the list is 128GB which is twice as big as the company’s highest offering (64GB).
If there’s any truth to this allegation, then the next iPad will be available in 128GB variant in addition to the usual storage capacity (16, 32 and 64) models. Is this enough to put pressure on its competition, what do you guys think?
