Min-Liang Tan, CEO of Razer USA Ltd. has recently announced the final specs of their upcoming gaming tablet coined Project Fiona.
One of the standouts of this year’s Consumer Electronics Show is Razer’s gaming tablet called Project Fiona. But several months after its first public appearance, there’s been little to no news about the gaming tablet which led gamers to think that it’s too good of a plan to be true.
In recent times (starting around October), however, Min-Liang Tan have asked what gamers would like to see on the impending slate through his Facebook page. The suggestions he asked include design, CPU/GPU configuration and even pricing. After two months since he started asking the gamers’ opinions on what to do with Project Fiona, he posted its final specs on his Facebook page. Here’s what he came up with.
Project Fiona proposed specs:
10.1” 1280×800
Intel Core i5 or i7
Mid-tier discrete GPU
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 3.0
3-axis gyro, magnetometer, accelerometer
Dolby 7.1 surround sound
Detachable controller
Twice as thick and as heavy as the iPad
Project Fiona’s price, if it reaches the market, ranges from USD1,200 to USD1,500. Sure, it’s a pricey piece of gaming hardware, but one that’ll surely give any gamers a nerdgasm just by its sheer awesomeness. You can visit Razer’s official page to get more info about Project Fiona.
