CHIEF TECHNICIANS
CORE SERVICE PLANNING (Ref. TECH/CS-PLNG/HO/08):
• Responsible for the planning & design of the Core Service areas on Value Added Services (VAS) like RBT, IP Centrex, IMPS, SMS/ MMS, MVPN, Cell Broadcast, Video Services, PoC, ROAMING solutions and others, Intelligent Network “IN” (Ericsson Charging System), Next Generation Networks (NGN) and IMS platforms including network introduction of new nodes, expansion, upgrade and modernization.• Coordinates & controls the preparation of RFP’s/ RFQ’s, etc. and Technical Specifications for Tendering & Ordering of equipment, systems & solutions.• Coordinates/ performs analysis and review of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of Core Services equipment and systems deployed in the network.
• Prepares the system floor layout, network/ routing & numbering plan, overall project time plan and coordinates the implementation as per Contract and ensure follow-up the end to end solution till the launching of the service.
• Prepares the Budget (capital/ equipment, administration & operating) and efficiently monitor and controls the expenditure.
