Headlining the updated internals is its support for 4K Ultra HD content, 4K Ultra HD Bluray, and HDR technologies for gaming and video playback. A USB port has also been moved up front for easier access while a new IR blaster is now built into the device. In addition, the new console no longer features a Kinect port and now demands a separate USB adaptor for it.

In terms of form factor, we see a refreshed design for the streamlined controller. It now has textured grips and a Bluetooth functionality for better wireless range controlling either the Xbox or a normal Windows PC.

Additionally, there will be a limited edition model having a 2TB hard drive for $399 and will be available in August. After which, there will be a 500GB variant for $299 and a 1TB version for $349.
