Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has unveiled their own smartwatch and it is powered by Android Wear.
Named as Connected, the smartwatch from the luxury brand sports a 1.5-inch round LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels or 240ppi. Protecting the display is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is ticking a 1.6GHz dual-core processor from Intel with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory and has a 410mAh battery.
The smartwatch also houses a gyroscope, tilt detection sensor, microphone and a haptic engine. Since it is a smartwatch, it can connect to your smartphone through Bluetooth 4.1 or Wi-Fi.
The smartwatch weighs 52g with its titanium case and is 12.8mm thick and 46mm wide. It cost $1,500 with a wide range of color bands to choose from and will be available starting November in Europe.
