Another new smartphone is announced at Microsoft’s Windows 10 event and it is the Lumia 950’s bigger brother, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL.
Positioned to answer the need of large mobile phones today, the Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display with ClearBlack technology. Not only that, it also has a 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and OIS plus triple-LED flash to help you take better photos and videos. The selfie camera, a 5-megapixel shooter, also has its own LED flash to light up faces in the dark.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 alongside 3GB of RAM. The processor’s issue with overheating is addressed by a liquid cooling system from the company’s Surface tablet. A large 3,340mAh battery will keep it on with charging option via USB Type-C or go wirelessly.
The Windows 10 Mobile phablet will be available in November for $650.
