After numerous leaks and countless speculations about its specs, Meizu has finally announced its new flagship smartphone – the Meizu MX5.
The new Meizu MX5 boasts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display which has a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The handset’s internals comprises of the new MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2Ghz, 3GB of RAM and a non-expandable storage that ranges from 16GB to 64GB.
Some of the MX5’s features were highlighted during the launch include the new mCharge technology – a fast charging feature that allows the handset to be filled to 25% in only ten minutes – new Flyme OS 4.5 which is laid on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop, and a 20.7MP rear camera that’s powered by Sony IMR220 sensor.

The Meizu MX5 will be available in three storage variants: 16GB (CNY1,799 or Php13,000+), 32GB (CNY1,999 or Php14,500+), and 64GB (CNY2399 or Php17,400+).
