Summary of Advantages
Google Nexus 6:
• Larger display
• Larger rear camera aperture
• Ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop
• No UI skins or bloatware
• Quick OS updates from Google
• More affordable price by conversion
Samsung Galaxy Note 4:
• Denser display
• microSD card support
• Better rear camera resolution
• Better front camera
• IR LED
• S Pen Stylus
• Fingerprint sensor, UV sensor, Hear rate monitor
• Smaller, thinner, lighter
• Officially available in the Philippines
Based on the summary of advantages listed above, the Galaxy Note 4 dominates when it comes to the number of hardware features like sensors and the inclusion of a stylus. The Nexus 6, on the other hand, wins when it comes to delivering a pure Android experience and fast update rollout.
When it comes to pricing, the Note 4 is obviously more expensive given its features. However, it is officially available here in the Philippines so buyers have local support. The Nexus 6 is more likely to be sold at a lower price by online sellers but warranty could be an issue especially if the unit arrives with a defect.
