SoftBank’s Japanese style ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’s popularity is really on its peak. Famous personalities in show business, tech industry, and more are into it. We even have phones doing the challenge. What’s next? Robots!

Before we get too excited, let’s first make it clear that the robots did not get wet. Instead, the robots helped in doing the challenge. A group of Pepper, SoftBank’s humanoid customer relation machine, was programmed to commence and pull the strings of the hanged ice bucket. What a fun way to play with these machines.

Without any further ado, watch the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge of the SoftBank team below.

Keep in mind that the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is done to raise awareness and collect funds for additional research aimed to cure Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease.
