Every time I travel, I always follow a very simple guiding principle: eat what the locals eat, do what the locals do. This way I get to experience a place in a more authentic way.
Just like when I was in General Santos City for example, the best place to get a bowl piping hot sinigang na tuna is right at the city’s public market. And I would always prefer pedicab, tricycle or habal habal over taxi or vans.
Do you know that there’s actually a website now that lists down various activities offered by the locals to travelers? Sounds interesting, right?
