With the Z2 just released a few months ago, information about a newer Sony Xperia Z3 was said to be leaked with an alleged photo of its frame and some specs. The report states that an August release might be in line for the said device. Read more about its details after the jump.
The rumored Xperia Z3 is said to come with a Full HD display (1920 x 1080 screen resolution) with unspecified size. It should also sport the new Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm that’s clocked at a speedy 2.7GHz accompanied by 3GB of RAM. Imaging-wise, the Z3 is equipped with the same 20.7-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0, ½.3 – type Exmos RS sensor.
There’s also something to note about the make of its metal frame (pictured above). It is said to be coated with PVD (stands for Physical Vapor Deposition) that “makes it more corrosion resistant, stronger, and scratch-proof” than the previous Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z2. This way, it is also more environment-friendly.
Along with those specs, we could also be seeing the new smartphone as early as August – just months after the Xperia Z2 was released locally.
So far, this is all we got on the Xperia Z3. Just remember, though, that all these are still to be confirmed.
